  • 6 chicken drumsticks

  • 2 tsp crushed dried rosemary

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp dried

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

  • Cooking spray

  1. Wash chicken and pat dry.

  2. In a small bowl, combine all seasonings, including Worcestershire sauce.

  3. Rub chicken with seasoning mixture. Refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.

  4. Preheat oven to 375°F . Spray baking pan with cooking spray and place chicken on pan making sure that they are not touching. This will allow for even cooking as the heat will circulate around each piece.

  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Using a toothpick, insert into thickest part of drumstick, without touching bone. If juices runs clear, chicken is done.

Serves: 3

Notes&Tips:

  • There are endless possibilities when it comes to using chicken drumsticks. They can be roasted, grilled, or fried in probably hundreds of ways. My favorite way to cook them is by grilling. But when winter weather prevails in spring, my next best way is to roast these with whatever seasonings I have on hand.

  • Drumsticks are juicy and flavorful. Overcooking, of course, will cause the meat to become dry and tasteless.

  • If you'd like the skin to be crispier, set the oven broiler to 450°F and broil for 3-5 minutes.

  • Serve these drumsticks with your favorite vegetable or a rice pilaf.
