Sesame Garlic Green Beans

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lb fresh green beans, washed and trimmed

  • 1 garlic clove, grated

  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cups water

Bring 3 cups water to boil in a large pot. Add green beans and cook 3 minutes uncovered. Strain in a colander and run cold tap water to stop cooking. Place pot back on stove on low heat to melt butter. Pat beans dry with paper towels, add to pot along with grated garlic, sesame seeds and salt and pepper. Toss to combine. Serve as a side dish.


Notes and Tips:

  • Serves 4 to 6.
