Winter Fruit Salad with Blueberries

Ingredients:
3 ripe kiwis, diced
1 orange, peeled and segmented and cut into half
1/2 pomegranate arils
1 cup red grapes, cut in half length-wise
1 cup blueberries
2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp toasted poppy seeds, crushed in a mortar and pestle
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey or maple syrup, lemon juice, and poppy seed.
Place all the fruit in a medium sized bowl. Pour the dressing over the fruit and gently stir to combine.
Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least one hour before serving.
Yields: 4 to 6 servings

With this fruit salad, I get to enjoy the delicious fruits of winter as well as a summertime favorite, blueberries.
