Grilled Yellow-Fin Tuna

Grilled Yellowfin Tuna over Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 4 Yellow-fin tuna steaks (4 ounces each)

  • salt and pepper to taste

For the Dressing

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • zest of 1 lemon

  • 1 sprig rosemary

  • 2 sprigs thyme

  • 2 sprigs oregano

  • 1 thin slice ginger

  • 1 garlic clove

  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. In a mini food processor, place rosemary, thyme, oregano, ginger, garlic and lemon zest, process until finely chopped. Add oil and lemon juice, process until incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Heat a cast iron grill pan on medium high heat. Brush with a bit of oil.

  3. Season tuna steaks with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Cook steak in pan two minutes per side. Remove from pan and drizzle with dressing. Let sit for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with additional dressing.

Serves: 4

Notes&Tips:

  • This tuna is delicious and the dressing is the star of the dish.

  • I served this Grilled Tuna with a simple Pasta with Garlic Chives and steamed Sugar Snap Peas. It was a delicious dinner.

  • I love making dishes that do not take a lot of time and are delicious. Tuna is one of my favorite fish to cook!
