Peanut Butter Blossoms

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 stick butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
60 Hershey's Kisses, wrapper removed
turbanido sugar for rolling cookies in
nonstick spray for cookie sheet or parchment paper to line cookie sheet
In a medium sized bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
Using an electric mixer, cream together butter, peanut butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 cup light brown sugar.
Beat in egg, milk and vanilla until well blended.
Add in flour mixture on low speed until thoroughly combined. Refrigerate dough for about 1 hour.
Divide dough into 5 equal portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll each piece of dough into a 6 inch log. Using a sharp knife, cut dough into 12 equal pieces.
Roll each 1/2" piece of dough into a ball, then roll the balls in the turbinado sugar. Place on prepared cookie sheet 2 inches apart and bake in a 375°F heated oven for 8 to 9 minutes until lightly brown and puffed.
Remove cookie sheets from oven and lightly press a Hershey's kiss onto each cookie; cookies will crack slightly.
Place cookies on wire rack to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
Yields: about 60 cookies

These cookies are simply delicious and easy to make. Get your little (or big) helpers to unwrap the candy.
Generally, these cookies are made with regular Hershey's kisses, but feel free to use any of your favorite kisses or a combination.
These can be festively wrapped and given to friends and neighbors. This way you have helpers to eat this delicious sweets.
