Notes&Tips:
Lemonade is an easy, refreshing drink for hot summer days. And like any other drink, everyone has their way of making it. Some like it to have a sour lemon flavor, others like it more on the sweet side. No matter how you like it though, it is a drink that can be found almost anywhere on the planet.
If you want a sour lemonade, just add half cup sugar, taste and then add more if you like.
The type of lemons used will also determine the taste, so be aware of that fact when you make lemonade.
Meyer lemons are not as tart as the regular variety, so use less sugar if using Meyer lemons.
Limes can be substituted for the lemons and make just as good a drink - "limeade". If you've never had limeade, you should try it sometime. I grew up drinking more limeade than lemonade, and they are both great.
