Notes&Tips:

  • I am not a juice drinker, but occasionally I might have some. When I do, I like my juice to taste like the fruit it's made from. I also don't like a whole lot of sugar added to the juice.

  • Summer is a wonderful time to juice your own fruit as there are tons of fresh, sweet fruit for the picking.

  • Growing up in Guyana, whenever we bought pineapple (or picked our own), we would save the skin to make pineapple juice. Soak the skin in water for a couple of days, sweeten and wallah! you have pineapple juice. I have found however, that the skin from the pineapple purchased in the USA does not make good juice. This could account for the difference in variety or maybe because it's picked so green to be shipped.

  • If you feel the juice is too thick, you can always add some more water to thin it to your liking.

  • The sweetness of this Pineapple Mango Refresher depends on how sweet the fruits are. So adjust sugar to taste.
