Raspberry-Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ripe raspberry + more for garnish

  • 1 banana

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup orange juice

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 2 1/2 cups ice

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender. Process until smooth.

  2. Serve at once.

Yields: 4 servings


Notes&Tips:

  • Smoothies are a good option for breakfast or snack. They are refreshing on hot summer days relaxing on your patio or deck or lounging by the pool.

  • Smoothies are a good way to drink your fruit if you don't like eating them.

  • The honey can be omitted from this recipe if you are avoiding added sugars.

  • For a thinner smoothie, use less ice.
